About This Piece
This serving board is designed to be as beautiful on the table as it is functional in the kitchen. Cut from a single piece of solid walnut, the face-grain surface shows off the full character of the wood — the color variation, the grain pattern, the occasional figure.
The edges are hand-chamfered and the surface is sanded through progressively finer grits to a silky smooth finish. A juice groove runs around the perimeter to catch liquids when serving.
Finished with food-safe mineral oil and sealed with a beeswax blend. Makes an exceptional gift, especially when paired with the end-grain cutting board.
